Event: Key Partnerships Creating Affordable Homeownership Opportunities in Northern Indiana Forum

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Lacasa, Inc. will host a forum to educate financial institutions, community-based organizations, and community stakeholders on partnerships creating affordable homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income (LMI) people in Northern Indiana.   The forum will highlight the vital role financial institutions play in preparing LMI people to become homeowners.  Presentations will offer insights into supportive services, including housing counseling, credit building opportunities, Individual Development Accounts (IDAs), down payment assistance (DPA) grants, and resources available to improve energy efficiency, repair, or construct homes.

The FDIC and Lacasa cordially invite representatives of financial institutions, community-based organizations, and other community stakeholders interested in providing affordable homeownership opportunities for Indiana’s low- and moderate-income residents.
