Community Building in Action

Community building works best when it starts with listening. Over the years, Lacasa has partnered with neighborhoods, cities, and community organizations to gather resident insight, strengthen trust, and support projects shaped by the people they impact. Below are examples of our current community building efforts and historical work that reflect our commitment to community-informed planning and engagement.

Current Community Building Projects

Lacasa is currently working with interns from Goshen College in a Goshen neighborhood to better understand local priorities and experiences. Through surveys, listening sessions, and advocacy efforts, this work is designed to:

  • Gather resident feedback and perspectives
  • Identify strengths, challenges, and opportunities within the neighborhood
  • Build trust and ongoing relationships with community members
  • Inform future engagement, programming, and investment
