Check your eligibility
- Must be an employed, Elkhart County Resident
- Credit score at or below 600 (TransUnion FICO score 4)
- If you aren’t sure what your credit score is, please check it before you inquire about the program
- Free credit score platforms include: Credit Karma, Credit Sesame, Intuit Mint, and your bank or credit card company may offer this service as well
- Vehicle is necessary in order to get to work or school
- Income is below 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines (see below)
- Able to meet eligibility & coaching requirements

Steps to apply
- Complete the inquiry form on Lacasa’s website.
- Meet with a Lacasa coach to create an action plan.
- Follow the action plan, turn in documents, and complete financial education requirements.
- Purchase your vehicle and begin making loan payments.
