A big thank you to the team from Genesis Products for their hard work and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
The group originally came prepared to help with landscaping at several of our properties. However, when the weather didn’t cooperate, plans quickly shifted. Instead of losing the day, the team pivoted and moved indoors to take on a project that had been on our list for quite some time.
Our warehouse was in major need of purging and organizing. What could have felt like an overwhelming task quickly turned into real progress thanks to the team’s flexibility, positive attitude, and strong work ethic. Volunteers sorted materials, cleared out unused items, and helped bring order to a space that supports much of our day-to-day work.
Their energy never slowed, and the impact was clear almost immediately.
As a bonus, the weather eventually improved, allowing the group to wrap up the day by getting some outdoor work done as well.
In just a few hours, the team accomplished a tremendous amount.
We are grateful for volunteers like those from Genesis Products who show up ready to help, adapt when plans change, and make a meaningful difference in our work and our community.
