On October 14, we gathered at Bread & Chocolate for Lacasa’s annual Donor Celebration, and it was one of our largest turnouts ever. Each guest in the room represented an essential piece of the puzzle that supports our mission to help families achieve stability, housing, and financial empowerment.
Throughout the evening, donors heard exciting updates and inspiring stories about the impact their support makes possible:
Homeownership Milestones: The successful transition of our single-family rental homes, including one of the last being sold to the family who had been renting it.
Major Project Progress: Updates on two significant developments, The Shoots Building rehab and the Lakeview Drive Apartments.
Legacy Circle Launch: The introduction of Lacasa’s new Legacy Circle, offering donors an opportunity to include Lacasa in their estate plans and make a lasting difference for generations to come.
We also reflected on Lacasa’s broader impact, from creating affordable housing to providing nearly a quarter of all financial education in Indiana. Together, these efforts strengthen our community and empower families to build brighter futures.
