Lacasa, Inc. is pleased to announce key leadership transitions that will enhance the organization’s ability to serve the community through affordable housing and financial empowerment initiatives.

Alan Greaser has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO), replacing Heidi Stoltzfus McHugh, who recently departed the organization. We wish Heidi well on her new adventure and thank her for her contributions to Lacasa. Alan previously served as Vice President Asset Management, playing a key role in overseeing Lacasa’s housing portfolio. In his new role, he will oversee the organization’s operations, systems, and resources to maximize efficiency and impact to further Lacasa’s mission. He has been with Lacasa since 2008, serving in multiple roles that have shaped his deep understanding of the organization’s impact. His experience and leadership will be invaluable in this new position. “I look forward to this new challenge for me at Lacasa”, Alan says, “and accept it knowing the strength of our team and the importance of our work to create opportunity for personal empowerment, family stability and neighborhood vitality.”
 
Brad Hunsberger has been promoted from Vice President to Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development at Lacasa, Inc. in Elkhart County, Indiana. With 27 years of dedicated service to Lacasa since joining the organization in 1998, Brad has played a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the nonprofit’s real estate development efforts. Brad has been continually successful in securing multi-million-dollar grants which allow Lacasa to continue expanding our portfolio and serve our mission. In his new role, he will continue to lead Lacasa’s Real Estate Development initiatives, oversee project development, strategic planning, and execution to ensure the organization meets the growing housing needs of the community. His leadership has been and will remain instrumental in expanding affordable housing opportunities, fostering strong partnerships, and driving impactful projects that align with Lacasa’s mission to empower individuals and families through housing and financial stability.
 
Aaron Lehman has been promoted from Director of Real Estate Development to Vice President of Asset Management. Since joining Lacasa in 2016, Aaron has played a key role in expanding the organization’s real estate initiatives, demonstrating a deep commitment to quality, affordability, and community impact. In his new role, he will lead efforts to maintain and enhance Lacasa’s housing portfolio, ensuring its long-term sustainability and maximizing its positive impact on residents. Aaron’s expertise in real estate development will strengthen the synergy between Real Estate Development and Asset Management, continuing to foster seamless collaboration to optimize Lacasa’s housing assets. He will continue advancing efforts to streamline processes, increase operational efficiency, and implement best practices that support the organization’s mission of empowering individuals and revitalizing neighborhoods. His leadership will be instrumental in sustaining Lacasa’s legacy of providing safe, affordable, and well-managed housing for the community.
