Thanks to the continued support of three local financial institutions, Lacasa has received $75,000 for its housing and financial empowerment programs.

First Federal Savings Bank, 1st Source Bank, and Interra Credit Union contributed a combined $15,000 through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis’ Community Multiplier – Member Match program. Their contributions received a 4-to-1 match, adding $60,000 to support Lacasa’s work.

Each institution chose to support different programs:

  • First Federal Savings Bank — $37,500: Homebuyer counseling and education.
  • 1st Source Bank — $18,750: Help-A-House and Dream$avers Matched Savings.
  • Interra Credit Union — $18,750: Financial education and outreach related to homeownership and affordable housing maintenance.

Lacasa’s Financial Empowerment Center provides education and resources that help individuals and families manage their finances, prepare for homeownership, and build financial stability. Because many of these services are offered at little or no cost to participants, donations and community partnerships are essential to keeping them available.

We’re grateful for the longstanding relationships we’ve built with these local financial institutions and their continued commitment to our community.

Thank you to First Federal Savings Bank, 1st Source Bank, Interra Credit Union, and FHLBank Indianapolis for helping us make these programs accessible to more people!
